Lunar Heralds are deeply attuned to the two moons of Valkemare, Aurax and Cirion. Strictly nocturnal, they draw energy from moonlight and will only hunt when the moons have waned. When breeding, the amount of moonlight the parents receive from each moon will determine the color of the egg produced. When a Lunar Herald is struck by direct moonlight, an illusion of multiple wings may appear. Witnessing a Lunar Herald’s illusory wings is commonly believed to be a sign of good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Gatekeeper Ouluh lives in a city of dragons far to the northeast, and he is considered to be among the more dubious eccentrics. According to him, the city is where Valkamare overlaps with a very different and much more dangerous world he calls Dacavis and a good number of dragons live on each side of the gate. Several of the dragons are annoyed by his seemingly arbitrary designations of who is on which side, especially Psican and Infacras, who Oluluh put on opposite sides despite being mates.

Because Oluluh knows of his poor reputation, he tries to do what he can to help on top of his 'rigorous duty'. This usually involves charitably running errands for particularly busy dragons and stepping in at the schoolhouse when a teacher is sick. He does not expect any thanks for what he does and certainly is not paid for it.

Although Oluluh is broke, he has won the eternal love of KODAK Memento, and her fishery brings enough fish and coin to support them both. He tries hard to be a loving mate.
