Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eiretsu was fighting a valiant battle to save his homeland against the vampiric dragons, in the middle of the night a few years back... He was wounded so badly that he almost died. In fact he would have, if a female white dragon named Nennetsu had not found and saved him. They were lovers instantly and he promised to settle down with her. They have two children now, one black as the night like him, and one as snowy white as his mate. He is brave and honorable, but also very kind with a soft heart that he exposes only with his family around; otherwise he may seem a bit cold and aloof.
