Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Daytyn always follows her sister Ishtaar around. Their both frozen and enjoy playing games around their Clans Cave instead of helping out with chores. They both got a burst of confidence because their father is Clans Leader and they strut around like they own the cave. Daytyn and Ishtaar refuse to play with any of the other Clans Frozens no matter how many times their parents scold them about not trying to make friends. They spend most of their time teaseing another of the Clans Frozen named Xuntaz, because she slightly weird, but pretend they're being nice when Clan Elders walk by.
