Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.
Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.
Skinny even by ochredrake standards, this young male has limitless energy. His wire-taut frame buzzes with impatience or excitement; he seemingly cannot sit still, fidgeting when there is need to pause from whatever task he's taken. Flickering wings, tapping claws, and twitching tail are all signs that he's ready to go. Whether he actually knows where he's going is of little importance. His scales are a milky orange color reminiscent of cantaloupe that deepens to chocolate brown over his nose, while cream dapples his shoulders and haunches. His eyes are bright green.
