Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shrouded Enigma is the embodiment of dusk; he is mysterious, solemn, and dark. The other dragons don't know what to make of this mystifying creature. His somber personality matches the darkness he embraces. Enigma thrives on the shadows of the moon, and the cool of the night. While his body and mind are connected to the darkness, his heart truly belongs to the light. A forbidden relationship was born between him and the glorious dragon of the light, Dawn of Desire. Separated by the great expanse of night and day; the two can only meet during an eclipse, when dusky darkness blends with brilliant light. So great is their passion when they reunite, that the colors of dusk and dawn combine together into a beautiful display, colorful lights known to humans as the Aurora Borealis. When they are apart, Enigma paints the dusk sky with bold cerulean, bloody red, and deep purple, as a tribute to his beloved.
