It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Oviowhisk has a penchant for all things fruity. Not just fruits but also fruit flavored things. He will hunt Purpletail's pockets for fruit candy every time she comes to visit her dragons. It's funny when ever Purpletail gives him any special treats he will roll around on his back making happy dragon noises. This dragon also eats a ton of grapes, only purple ones though as he believes they will keep him purple and if he doesn't eat them his coat will fade and he'll turn into an albino dragon.
