Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

o8EAT loves food. He can only eat so much of it himself, but he likes preparing food so that others can eat as well—it is almost as much fun for EAT to watch eating as it is for him to practice it. He has learned to cook quite skillfully, so that others will partake more of his food. One of the ingredients he loves to use was hard for him to find, since it was only used in one relatively small area he migrated through. This changed when he found a nocturne who was an expert at making clarified butter, not in that area. EAT settled down with gheee to start up a tavern, and eventually became so heavy from frequent overeating that he no longer can fly for the long periods required to migrate. Thus he stays put, happily cooking food in the afternoons and evenings, then spending late his nights under the stars with his mate. On rare occasions he wishes he could go back to one of the poles to stargaze, but he is unable to go on a diet and get into good enough shape to fly that far.
