Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Snow dragons, such as Olofez, are considered to be the 'Spirits of Winter'.... indeed, some old tales even claim that the first snow dragons were actually created from snow and then transformed into living creatures by magic. True or not, it is a fact that snow dragons have always had a strange affinity for winter weather, and Olofez, like many of his kind, takes great care with his 'snow art' each year. Most of the year, snow dragons are playful and good natured, viewing each other almost as brothers, but during the early winter, competition is fierce as to who can create the finest art and even otherwise good friends come to view each other as rivals. This is because during this brief time, the dragons of the clan... especially the females... turn out to admire their creations. It is said that it is during this 'drawing time' that these handsome dragons may decide to choose a mate, but regardless of the truth of this, once it has passed, they go back to their usual cheerful selves.
