Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Brighthiss is as talented as he is lazy. A prodigy, he has long been fussed over by older dragons in search of a young pupil to raise, but he declined all offers, preferring to lounge on the beach and watch those sexy female pinks trot around. Eventually his laziness got him in trouble, however; when there was a warning that dragon hunters were in the area, he continued to lounge around rather than flee like the others. As a result, he nearly lost his life. This alarmed him so much that he actually bothered to learn a spell from an ancient orange, one that emits a bright flash of light to blind any enemy that attacks him. He mastered the magic with such ease that the orange was adamant about keeping him on as a student; but he refused, and returned to his life as a beach bum.
