Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Being Torrent's first born son, and the first child to be born into Torrents clan, there was always so much riding on him from the beginning, though since their clan functions Matriarchal she was hoping so badly for a daughter. He joined the lower ranks, feeling often like a quiet disappointment, even though he is still a very big part of Torrents clan. He's still treated like a little hatchling to an extent so he never really grew out of that mentality of being the clan's child.

Aside from life in the clan, he is a personality blossom, very open and friendly; he has almost a puppy-like manner that makes people just want to take him home with them. He tends to wander from the clan to explore, and seems to enjoy the land and all its strange wonders: dragons, little animals, hatchlings, and people.
