Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s brightly colored and chirps quite often.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Yuck does not like anything dirty, smelly, sticky, slimy, or brown. She refuses to play in the dirt or mud, but hates taking baths as well, since the lake water is 'unsanitary'. She thinks plants taste disgusting, but eats them anyway, since she's terrified by the sight of bloody meat. Her temper tantrums are awful, her crying consistently annoying. In fact, her only redeeming trait is her love and loyalty for her mother, who looks after her with tired resignation.
