Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon likes to collect rocks. But not just any rock, since to him, there isn't any meaning in a rock that isn't stolen. So he stalks other dragons' lairs using bushes as camouflage, waiting for the victims to leave their caves alone. It's then that Sigfred jumps into their defenseless lairs and robs a random rock. Once the deed's done, he opens his wings and flails his frills, lets out shrieks of joy to celebrate his victory, and rushes back to his cave while roaring. The stolen treasures are then stacked in there.

Most female dragons in the clan avoid him for being such a creep, except for Smashed Marrow, who enjoys laying traps for Sigfred. She steals fishing webs from nearby human settlements and lays all sorts of traps in the entrance of some caves—and this Frilled dragon never fails to get trapped in them.

Nowadays, the clan is nearing 2000 dragons, and Sigfred has filled his cave with rocks, so until he can get another cave, he will be sleeping under the starry sky.
