Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Liilian is a gentle little creature, always moving in a delicate manner, making her seem shy and fragile. Though she seems timid, she is actually rather adventurous. She likes to climb high in trees at night and watch the stars with her younger brother, Liilion. The two of them can be seen most nights at the top of a tall tree, their scales giving off a brilliant glow, making the treetop shimmer.
