Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Pilnu is Roaring Lion's principal editor. His primary role is to take Sarilben's melodramas and turn them into something that can actually be performed. Pilnu has the unenviable task of trimming the worst of the purple prose and eliminating the most improbable coincidences and contrivances from the plot without completely alienating Sarilben, and has become quite skilled at the art of diplomacy over the years.
