Because of their dual personalities, Duotone Dragons are extremely nervous and indecisive. When confronted, it is often the case that one head wants to fight while the other wants to run, resulting in the dragon trying to go in two directions at once. They are omnivorous, choosing to eat both vegetation and meat—although perhaps this is just another outcome of their indecisiveness.

Both heads can control the body, with each head having only marginal control on the opposing side of the body; this works when both halves want the same thing, but does not work as well when there is a disagreement. Despite this, Duotone Dragons can fly quite well, but can crash through the trees if one head becomes distracted.

Duotone Dragons can fight, using their large claws and heavy face plates to rend and bash their opponents.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

Skandar is hopelessly tidy, getting upset when the slightest thing is out of place. He reorganizes his hoard constantly, and absolutely despises mud -- the archenemy of cleanliness, as he puts it. Jyx, on the other hand, could care less about his brother's obsession, seeing constant tidying as a waste of time. In his mind, things are going to get dusty and disorderly; cleaning only slows the inevitable. But Skandar has endless patience for his time-consuming hobby, scorning his brother as immature because of his refusal to keep himself and his surroundings clean. Jyx indeed is annoyed by his brother's seriousness, and often goes out of his way to dirty his purple scales just to irritate Skandar in vain attempt to see the red dragon smile. But Skandar doesn't smile, he grimaces and growls, usually at Jyx. Though at the end of the day, Skandar is glad for his brother's antics; they make his life exciting, albeit more difficult.
