Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

True to her kind, Rakshi is a very protective individual who spends her days guarding eggs and hatchlings of varying species while their parents are out gathering food. Rakshi has a soft spot for infant dragons and will often abandon her guard duties temporarily to play with them, but only when she knows for definite that it is safe to do so. While she can seem like a pushover, Rakshi is not one to be messed with: Her powerful tail swipe attack is enough to send potential predators running.

With her dam being a Magi dragon, Rakshi has inherited a weak form of magic. This magic, however, is not strong enough to create any lasting or useful spells, so she uses it mainly to keep the hatchlings entertained for the long, boring periods while their parents are away. Rakshi normally makes objects move around for the young ones to chase and practice their hunting skills on, however by far her favourite trick is making bubbles appear out of thin air.
