Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

The uncanny abilities of the species have always been whispered by many, but Nil'wynn is an oddity among the Wyverns. Due to being the offspring of a Thunder, she was born with the power to generate electric sparks.

As a hatchling she believed that her skill was a burden, having been ostracized by other dragons the moment it was revealed, and she swore never to use her abilities again. But that later changed when a hysterical Mint dragon approached her, begging for information on her son's disappearance, and Nil'wynn offered to help find him.

It didn't take long to locate the whimpering hatchling on the edge of a cliff--with a deranged, wild dragon growling only a few feet away from him! In an attempt to divert the dragon, Nil'wynn had failed and suffered a large wound on her leg. As a last, desperate attempt, she had sent him fleeing with a spark of electricity and reunited the Mint family.

Ever since then, Nil'wynn is often seen walking with a limp but her head is always held high.
