Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Wer Soti is distinguished and honorable, well, at least as honorable as a vampire dragon can be. His parents are some of the most respected dragons in the cave, but even they could not bear to think of raising a vampire dragon. He was thrown out of his nest at an early age and nearly died. Luckily, he found a cave and settled down. He even took on an apprentice, a young vampire dragon who had nearly died in a blizzard. Unfortunately, the young vampire dragon apprentice failed his first test, accidentally killing the egg he had been told to bite. Wer Soti and his apprentice were forced to flee by the attacking parents, and Wer Soti's apprentice left soon after, never to be seen or heard from again. Wer soti himself, however, went back to his cave. He looked everywhere for his lost apprentice, but there was no sign of him anywhere. Eventually, Wer Soti headed for home once again, thinking that he was a failure.
