Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mornen is somewhat stronger than the most of other dragons. He knows his powers and doesn't mess around. He is not from those who play with their prey. When he kills he just does. He acknowledges hierarchy and expects others to do likewise. He is a good leader that is respected by most of other dragons.

If he breaks the rules it is either for the good of other dragons or related to his long-time mate Mana.

Young dragons really love to be around him, and seek his presence, because, even though he wouldn't admit it publicly, those crazy anti-mature plans of the gang are much better fun to him than dealing with senseless arguments of adult dragons.
