Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It spends its time pouncing on insects.
And look! It’s grown its wings! It must be close to maturing. It is also now covered in brightly colored stripes.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don’t grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

This Hatchling's name means "white" in Turkish...much to his dismay! Beyaz is very envious of coloured Striped Dragons, and curses his plain white scales every day. All he wants is some of that bright green or blue pigment for himself! He's tried various methods of changing his colour, from rubbing berry juices on his scales, to sitting out in the sun too long, to gluing grass and leaves to himself! Needless to say, none of these methods have worked very well, so he continues his quest for colour. His latest idea is to get a Human to tattoo him, but his guardians aren't too keen on that!
