Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Lady of Harmony And Justice's serene demeanor belies a tempestuous lineage; the blood of fiery, stormy, and otherwise catastrophically-inclined dragons runs in her veins.  The magics of those ancestors within her spirit make her well-suited to understanding her often capricious weyrmates, as well as enabling her to settle their all-too-common disputes with impunity.  She is a great believer in the value of truth and orderliness in the weyr, and can often be found with a clutch of hatchlings nestled close, teaching them the philosophies of dragons and humans alike.  Of her fellow silvers, she looks upon Lady Of Music And Beauty as an older, if not necessarily wiser, sister, and thinks of Lord Of Infinity And Eternity as a dear friend.  She has chosen a mate in One Who Counts Hearts, and together they have quite a few children scattered among the weyrs of the world, who occasionally return to learn from her again.
