Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"Bris" is extremely theatrical. He has a million and one personalities and it has become near impossible to tell which one is him. If not for the occasional flare of his temper, the color of his scales and eyes, and his natural talent for fighting, you may not even be able to tell what breed he is.

This is because Bris tends to use his abilities to imitate others' personalities. He can mimic everyone from fiery-headed Bolero to brainless Duv to his lazy mate to even free-spirited Krios. The only thing that can break his character is when someone angers him enough.

There is something there though, beneath all the acting. Whenever he drops his wall, little as that is, you can almost see it in his eyes. He bonded with a female hatchling he grew up with. Trouble was, she grew ill and died. Whenever he lets himself stop, it always comes back to him, haunting him. Sooner or later he'd have to face up to it, but he has to forgive himself first. For now, though, his mind remains on his acting.
