Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dishonor is one of two dragons whose obsession with power and battle led to downfall. With his mate, Faithless, the two hatched a plan to remove their parents in an attempt to purify their lineage and topple Actium from his position as Alpha. Upon learning of their deeds, a group of black dragons led by Actium cast a spell over the pair, consigning them to a bittersweet fate. Few understand the destructive nature of the curse's physical beauty.  The most striking effect of the transformation was the development of irresistible vanity in the two dragons. It became impossible for them to see themselves and not become overwhelmed with self-appreciation. Their core instinct remained untouched: they yearned for the fight, but their new-found vanity prevented them from acting upon it. They became beautiful, rare creatures  but this only separated them from others of their kind.
