White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sha'ellahi was Xyie's first dragon to successfully make it to maturity. As she grew up, she could only watch sadly as the eggs around her died, and was grief-stricken when one of her fellow hatchlings, a two-headed dragon whom she was just befriending, fell to the same fate. She took this as a charge to teach her keeper how to take better care of both her and any further hatchlings. Sha'ellahi determined to pull through, daring to overcome the obstacles of her keeper's ignorance and survive. Perhaps it was her own healing magic which saved her, perhaps it was her determination, but she grew up strong, and succeeded in her quest. She now loves to see how her grandchildren are doing; she feels that her survival is rewarded by her legacy.
