Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. When Coisinn chose Connadh as her mate, there was a lot of frowning and gossiping about her choice. How she could prefer such a weak coward hiding deep in the cave with the hatchlings over the many strong warriors the clan had to offer her was a mystery, particularly to those strong warriors themselves. Many assume she will grow bored soon enough and pursue her nonetheless, Connsaidh most of all. For Coisinn this brings a lot of inner conflicts: she loves the little gifts and attentions she receives and in a way she secretly feels she deserves them, but she also loves her simple Connadh deeply and would never leave him for another male.
