Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling's wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.

Dragons don't communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.

Silver dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male silver dragons hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Whim's Transparent is a rather curious dragon.  While being a silver, a rather rare and sought after creature, he yearns to be loved and wanted.  It was for this reason he was named, for he is rather Transparent about it all.  Not that he mopes about coughs eherm, well he may mope about, but he's also taken by flights of fancy.  

For example, one day he'll decide to pester A Pixel the Celeslion in order to learn magic, because, on a whim, he's decided he wishes to learn it.  A few days later he'll drop the matter all together and find something else to fit his fancy.  All in all Whim's Transparent is a rather curious creature.
