Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. It gives off a glow that lights up the cave.
Look, it's grown frills, and the glow around it has become even brighter.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.
Ukite truly is his parents' son. He has inherited his father's sense of the beautiful and his mother's big heart and open mind. The combination makes him a truly delightful being, though his appreciation of his own appearance can be trying, and he is thus the pet of many other dragons. He relishes their attention, particularly enjoying the company of adults since they make him feel special and clever. Thankfully, Ukite has not become some spoiled brat and he retains a certain modesty under most circumstances.
