Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It sleeps a lot, but when it’s awake, it’s quite a handful.
And look! It’s grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don’t grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.
Tyler, one of Goldenfield Village's resident pillow dragon hatchlings, has appointed himself unofficial greeter. Newly-arrived visitors will find themselves greeted by a very fluffy dragon, and will not be permitted to proceed until they've petted him and agreed to let him give them a tour of the town. When not busy with visitors, Tyler spends his time checking up on Goldenfield Village's residents, visiting each one in turn to make sure they're doing okay.
