Name: ThurosDragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Hatchlings spend a relatively long period of time as hatchlings, from 100 to 200 years, before they mature. Adolescence is usually marked by a hatchling's wings growing in, but not all breeds of dragons grow wings. Baby dragons all look very similar, but once they hit adolescence, they change very fast, they mature to their full forms in only 2 years.
Dragons don't communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.
Silver dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male silver dragons hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.
Thuros is one of those dragons who, like Ysaedda's golden Yadailis, simply cannot get enough of himself. However, unlike Yadailis, he is not one to sit around preening himself and basking in the attention of all those around him. And though he takes good care of himself, he remains a hunter at heart and would consider it far beneath him to become a decorative object. It is unsurprising that this free spirit should become the mate of a skywing, who is just as in love with the skies as her partner. It is a common and very touching sight indeed to see Nour and Thuros enjoying the freedom of the wing together.
