Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. It enjoys gathering pebbles and other small rocks and putting them in a pile.
And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

This hatchling was forced out of its egg prematurely.

Thornne seems to combine the best traits of her two adoptive parents, Myroku and Sebina.  She is quiet, a good listener, and shows an aptitude for earth magic.  None of the other hatchlings like to go up against her in games of dragon bowling, as she can subtly affect the direction of the "ball" and the position of the stalagmite "pins" with her powers.  She has a strong affinity for said "ball," otherwise known as Stonesaver, and can frequently be found in his company.  As neither is the type to divulge much information, it is unknown if their association is strictly platonic, or if there is a budding romance there.  It is rumored she has a small cache of gifts which were given to her by Stonesaver.
