Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling's wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.

Dragons don't communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.

Silver dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male silver dragons hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

A very intelligent and proud Silver dragon, one of the elite guardians of the sanctuary.  In fact, he's the first of such, and has claimed the title of their captain.  The others come to him for guidance and wisdom, and is also often the judge of any conflicts that may arise.  He makes his home higher up in the clouds and can fly with his magic, despite not having wings.  His favorite pastimes are often reading from books he gathered from the archives of an ancient castle, and also spending time with his life mate, Rosada.
