When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

She is a life lover, kind and adventure seeker. Shaiyra was the first water dragon to ever be a part of their family. Ever since she was a child, she has always been the kind of dragon that likes a little danger when she's exploring the large sea she lives in and the rivers around it. She thinks that danger is one of the things that makes life worth living.

From time to time she disappears for days—sometimes even for weeks—because she loves adventures, so she swims out in the ocean quite often in the search for new places to explore. Some of the other dragons don't like that; they say that it's her fault if any danger finds them since she's the one that travels around far away from their own home. Shaiyra doesn't mind it at all that some don't like her, she loves the life she's living and wants to enjoy it to the fullest.
