Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.
And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

Senjou is the son of Odyn and Numa.  With a name that means "streak," it's no surprise that this little guy is always in motion.  He's a bit mentally immature compared to his adopted sister Xenith, but others are quick to acknowledge the potential there.  Like the other black dragons, he has a strong sense of justice and fair play.  He is somewhat quick to get his feelings hurt, but his natural empathy also makes him quick to defend others.  He started flying at a young age, and likes to train with Hanyou, the male skywing hatchling.  He also has a bred-in aptitude for hunting and will sometimes hunt small game just for the experience, giving his kills to the other hatchlings if he isn't hungry.
