Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. It occasionally shoots small puffs of smoke from its nose, like it's trying to breathe fire.
And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

Rubycave was stolen from her parents on 11309. She had 2 days until she died as she hatched!  At 3 days old she was sick and was playing with Treeleaf(before he matured), and accidentally fell into the icy lake.  After that her aging stop completely. Inside she is a fully grown dragon, she hunts and fights, but on the outside she is a hatchling.  She was the third dragon in Zmannn3191's cave.
