And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

Little Butterfly. Her name really says it all... Ri', as she is often known, is a bright and delicate creature. She blossoms at a warm word or a kind gesture and sheds light into her surroundings. Despite this, she is very shy and will often retreat behing a flash of her colourful wings, their beauty hiding what she really thinks and feels. It's a very effective defense mechanism, but she already knows that it cannot last forever. One day, the others will see through it and she fears that they will be angry for lying to them. She does not yet know that they love her too much to bear any hard feelings.
