Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ridiculous Dorkface Squared is the heir of Ridiculous Double Dorkface and Double Dorkface. He was raised by his parents, who are both renown magicians. Unlike his parents, Dorkface Squared never really fought the prejudices of local dragons. He showed promise as an exponentially gifted magician even as a hatchling, and the reputations of his parents preceded him. He is a blissfully joyous young man, and he enjoys using his powers for the good of others, especially those without magical skill.
