Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. It is so full of energy that you have a hard time keeping up with it.
And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

Nante's name means "what!"  As a baby whiptail dragon, he moves with the speed and predictability of a mouse on drugs.  So when he first made his debut in the dragon community, most of the adults didn't even know what they were seeing.  Their reaction became his name.
