Its fins and tail have gotten bigger, and you've moved it to a larger body of water to swim in.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

Nalli is the daughter of Unagi-sama and Namioto.  She has inherited her sire's sense of justice, and her dam's easy-going and caring nature.  In short, she's just a pleasant dragon to be around.  She will tag along with her adopted brother Liberi as he patrols the waterways and checks on other dragons.  However, the elder Vyster makes her uncomfortable, so she waits at the mouth of the river when Liberi's wandering takes him that far south.  Nalli is fascinated with deep waters, and has secured a promise from her father to take her out to sea someday.  She has been practicing holding her breath for deep-water dives since she was very young.
