Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling's wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.

Dragons don't communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.

Silver dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male silver dragons hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Mythic Journeys earned his name through his love of travel. Ever since he learned to fly, he has spent most of his time on the move, rarely spending more than one night at a time in his birthplace at Jekan Caverns. He usually travels alone, but is sometimes accompanied by his favorite mate, the free-spirited white dragon Morgan Paris. Mythic Journeys particularly enjoys observing humans and is seen flying near their villages more often than any other Jekan dragon.
