Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. It enjoys gathering pebbles and other small rocks and putting them in a pile.
And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

Mini-Mech is one of few hatchlings that Shadow Blossom and Angieal did not return to the cave. He was one of the first clutch they had, and they did wish for a hatchling to care for but were not prepared to care for many. They already had their hands full looking after their human friend's adopted eggs and hatchlings! Mini-Mech, because of being frozen, still has the mind of a child despite being quite an old dragon. One of his favourite pastimes is chasing mice and bats, snapping at their tails with his jaws to get their adrenaline going so they're more of a challenge to pounce.
