Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, smaller in females, aiding both in digging up food and protection from attack. Females are noticeably brighter than males due to their habit of not straying far from particularly algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Infamously known as the "Imposters", Midas Dorkface and her mate Shallyna'ar are well loathed among dragon-kind for masquerading as their namesakes-- the revered Gold and White founders of the Dorkface lineage. By attempting to earn fortune and fame through false identities, the two wyverns' intentions are delusional at best, devious at worst. Most dragons easily see through the facade; not only are the pair completely different species, but also the opposite genders of their namesakes! Still the two continue their efforts to deceive and swindle, occasionally being driven into temporary hiding should they spark a violent outrage from local dragons. Their offspring is similarly persecuted should their origins be known.

Midas Dorkface is the self-proclaimed mastermind behind the deception, claiming the name of the gold dragon as her own. She is by far the most manipulative and convincing of the pair, known for becoming malicious and spiteful should her claims of royalty be refuted.
