Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling's wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.

Dragons don't communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.

Silver dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females, like most female dragons, eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Lysistrate is an endlessly fickle dragon well known for her incredible beauty and never-ending line of suitors. She refuses to admit that Cyzicus (her half brother)is infact the father of her pride and joy; the lovely Cybela. Their relationship dissolved when the two realised they were so closely related.  Eventually she settled with Arvina, this was much to her father, Ischys, horror. Despite Arvina being several hundred years her senior, well known as a womaniser, and dangerous with his temper, Lysistrate loves him completely and would do anything to please him. For reasons unknown to us, he recuperates her love and is completely faithful to her. Perhaps the two were simply meant to be.
