Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling's wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.
Dragons don't communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.
Silver dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male silver dragons hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.
Once, when this dragon was an average young lad, the silver lady he was lovestruck with declared he was nothing more than an ant and meant nothing good for society. He certainly took those words to heart. Lord Tellaver now worships the human Machiavelli as his role model. He is calculating and willing to sacrifice morals for his own gain, though he occasionally "belittles" himself (as he considers it) by helping other dragons. If this dragon does a good deed for another, one can expect that Lord Tellaver wants an eye for an eye back. Unfortunately, his gigantic ambition to be the tyrant of all dragondom doesn't match his actual abilities. Lord Tellaver seethes in the realm of the unknown, always plotting... and always having those plans foiled by that old flame, Lady Illumine...
