Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.
And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

A strong-willed young dragon, he was abandoned shortly after hatching and has never felt what it is like to be cared for by another. He is the leader and founder of a group that calls themselves The Lost Dragons, made up of impish young dragons who have all decided not to grow up. A strong fighter, he usually knows whether he's won or lost a battle, long before it has finished. He rarely enters a fight he doesn't think he can win unless it has a good reasoning behind it. His favorite form of mischief is switching out eggs with those of a different species, causing so much panic and disarray in nesting areas that the group often has to move in fear of being discovered and attacked by his victims. Like every living thing there is a good side to him however, whenever he sees a young dragon in need, or fending for themselves he is not hesitant to take them in. Kind at heart, he helps get them back on their feet without forcing them to join the group before, or after accepting his aid.
