Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling's wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.

Dragons don't communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.

White dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can't bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

'No one wants a white dragon! They're the most common, no one wants one...'

Lemlem has proved to all that white dragons are more than what they're made out to be as 'Common'. Lemlem proves that even though something may be very common, it's very rare and different in personality.

Lemlem, or his egg, rather, sat there, abandoned. The cave mother, known as Redd, watched as all the rarer eggs were taken away. Lemlem sat there, the last egg to be picked. Feeling bad, she picked up the lonely dragon egg and carried him home.

Many people came to visit Lemlem, and he grew fond of this. Crack! There was suddenly a large crack growing on the side of his pure white egg, then he tumbled onto the grassy, damp floor of the cave, where he rolled onto his back and gave a quick chirp.

Since then, Lemlem has been known as hyper, exaggerational, and imaginative, though he doesn't get along very well with Daytime, for he stole 'the love of his life'. He continues to be a healthy, full-grown dragon.
