Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.

Dragons don’t communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.

Magma dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Sometimes it seems like Klo was born to be Lisce's big brother. There is nothing he cares for more and ensuring her safety is his entire reason for living. He would die for her at the drop of a dime.

A big part of this was how he was raised. His mother is disconnected from even her own offspring; beautiful but not parent material. His father was charged with raising them. But Breneko is a celebrated general, widely known as Dux Cudo (the Miracle General). He fiercely loves his offspring, but has little time to devote to them and they are his biggest weak spot.

Klo was firstborn and it was years before Lisce came on scene. Breneko tasked his son with looking after her and protecting her, but Klo didn't initially take this task seriously.

One day, he snuck out and when he returned, Lisce was missing. Klo panicked, terrified he lost her; only to come to find out, she had followed him out. When he found her, he vowed he would never let anything happen to her again.
