Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling's wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.
Dragons don't communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.
Silver dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male silver dragons hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.
After a very long night of feverishly scribbling descriptions for all of her dragons, the human was very tired. She stared up at yet another silver dragon and frantically tried to think of a personality that wasn't overused, helpless, or a Gary Stu. The quill quivered in her hands. She gave up on finding an original, detailed, unique character for the poor silver dragon, and wrote:
"Jha .. is .. a .. silver. He .. is .. very .. playful .. and .. likes .. to joke .. around. He .. likes .. most .. of the girls .. in .. the clan."
At this point, the quill snaked through her fingers onto the ground. Imagining the horrified expression on the faces of the great dragon reviewers after reading her description, she fainted on the spot. Jha, still lacking a coherent personality, was forced to tell stupid jokes to the female dragons for the rest of his days.
