Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling's wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.

Dragons don't communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.

Silver dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male silver dragons hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Jaq is a silver romantic, considering himself a "knight in shining armor" (not the human, dragon-slaying kind!) to all female dragons. However, his heart has been stolen by a lovely mint named Ruwo. Together, they have produced many silvers and mints alike to form a strong line from their blood. Jaq couldn't be prouder.

He grew up with a female silver named Font, and the two of them have grown to be close friends; like littermates, you might say. She, too, has her own successful breeding line.
