And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

Ishtaar is one of her clans frozen. She has mood swings from warring with the other dragons to loving them, making her name Ishtaar totally perfect for her. Ishtaar was the Babylonian goddess of love and war. Ishtaar (the dragon) likes to think of herself as a goddess and always struts around like she owns the cave and the clan with her sister Daytyn. Many of the other dragons say she got that from her father, Polphir, who is the leader of the clan. She enjoys teaseing another of the Clans Frozen named Xuntaz because she a little weird, but acts like their playing when a Clan Elder walks by.
