Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. Its belly is bright red and it is most active in the evening.
And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.

Hinoiri Koujin is the son of Sayo and Nishia, and his name means "sunset traveler."  He is his parents' disciple, and is following in their habit of nomadic dancing.  As yet, he lacks the coordination to perform with his parents, but he is progressing admirably and will someday be able to join in the nightly dances.
